Australian Drivng Lisence????? help?

Hi, at the moment i live in the uk with my famil, ( we are british). are we are hoping to move to australia next year, if my dad can obtain a residents visa. anyway. what my dad wants to know is. is that he holds a FULL UK DRIVERS LISENCE, and has a clean record. does anyone know the process in applying for an australian lisence? AKA, does he have to retake he's driving lessons ALLLL over again? or just 1 or 2 lessons? or isit just applying for an australian lisence and no lessons involved??
