Authentic MLB Jerseys?

What is the difference between replica MLB jerseys and Authentic? for people than own one, is the different fabric and more detail worth the extra 60-70$, or are they basically the same.

I have 5 Authentic jerseys (hockey, 2 football, 2 baseball)...and they are made of the same materials that the real sports jerseys are made of. That usually means thicker material and real sewn in logo's, names and number from heavy material as well.

The replica's are more like a heavy t-shirt cotton material and the names and number are silk screened on the shirt. The silk screen has lace details so it looks like stitched letters. From a distance it looks good but up close you can tell its a super nice t-shirt.
