Automatic Car License in France?

Question

Does anyone no if you can drive a manual car in france with an automatic car license? In the U.S you can drive both transmissions but in the U.K if you only have a auto license you have to do another test for manual! Whats the case with France?

Same as UK as european law applies to both the UK and France.

Nope, you have to have a manual as your UK licence is restricted wherever you go in the EU or EC or whatever they call it these days!
