  1. August, September, October are supposed to be the autumn months in Ireland

it's more like September, October, November though because August is usually one of the warmest months of the year :)

  2. I've been to Ireland twice in the month of October, and the weather was absolutely lovely, very similar to my home state of Michigan.    There were very few days that were complete rain-outs, and many days had abundant sunshine.    The temps were generally in the 50's to 60's range, just cool enough for a light jacket.

The coast (as well as higher elevations) tends to be very breezy though, and that breeze can be chilly, so you'll want headgear.

  3. I'd say September to November, same as the rest of the northern hemisphere.

  4. september and october

  5. Hello K,

Autumn in Ireland can be a very beautiful time of the year, but remember Ireland is notorious for the rain, and a lot of people including myself will tell you, that if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes, and if it doesn't get any better for you, then take an umbrella and welly boots, as that rain may well be in for the whole day, but tomorrow could be much better, but really, in the Autumn, a season which lasts for 3 months, September is the best month to enjoy Autumn, as it is still comfortably warm, and the sight of seeing all the trees that will shed their leaves changing colours is one of natures miracles. and a wonderful sight for the sorest of human eyes. October, will be a little better for the colours but the air, temperature will be cooler, and then Comes November where the deviding line between Autumn and Winter is very slim indeed, and quite cold too, and you wouldn't want to spend any part of Winter, in Ireland, Fog, Ice, Cold and very Damp, it really is a great relief to us all when the year is at the point it is at right now, with Spring in full flow, and the trees are in bud again to the accompaniment of the flowers and blossoms threatening to delight us all, when we can honestly say, the days are softening a bit now and thanks be to our God.... I do so hope this answers your question, and if you have nothing to do for the Autumn of this and every year, come and join us and enjoy every word of this answer to your lovely question you would be most welcome, ... 'Bye... Tony M.....
