Awkward situation to be..

ok i start high school tomorrow. My first class is biology and the teacher just happens to be my youth group leader. Its her first year teaching here. How should i make it less awkward walking into her classroom? What should I say or do?

If your enemies then well the best thing to do would be avoid her. Only speak when your spoken too. Answer when asked. That sort of thing. If you guys are good buddies then just walk in and address them in a polite manner. Expect to be relied on for many answers, because they know you and are probably as scared as you that highschool is starting, considering its the first year. Be as helpful as you can, and if you dont want people to know that she is your youth leader then dont say anything. Thats all.

i would love to have a teacher i knew. if she was nice, then just be fine with it and treat her as a teacher. it gives you one less thing to be nervous about. =)

I think your making more of the situation than it needs to be. It shouldn't be awkward at all! Just act like yourself and have a seat in the classroom. I'm sure she won't even mention the fact that she is your youth group leader...

I'm not sure if you are worried that everyone might know she's your group leader or not.  If you are then maybe you can find the time to ask if you can talk with her privately and discuss it.  Go in and say hello and see what happens then deal with as you feel comfortable.  Some times high school is awkward maybe she'll realize that and your worrying for nothing.

It would be inappropriate for her to talk about anything else that you have talked with her about, that's private.

just talk to her normal say hi and wait till she starts the class if u want it less awkward ask her if she needs help but dont worryed the first day of high school is awkward for every one trust me dis year im goin to be a senior

Just politely say hi to her and have a seat.  Reason is because if you talk to her quite frequency, everyone will think that you are a teacher's pet.  But, be more welcoming to her.
