so i had brought my cousin a gift for her birthday and she liked what i got her and a month later was my birthday and for my birthday we went to a amusement park and had fun but yet she didn't get me anything yet. so a couple of days later i saw her at the mall coming out of a jewelry store and i was guessing she brought something for me because she had a lot of bags in her hand ...but the only thing she told me she got me a gift card but she never gave it to me and just left for vacation even when she said she was said she was going to leave at another relative to give it to me...do u think this is rude?

  1. It is rude, but you shouldn't give a gift just to expect a gift in return. If it bothers you though let it blow over and in the future maybe a simple birthday card might suffice for your cousin.

  2. i think you forgot what friendship is. i bet you rate everyone presents on Christmas, you need to read this and remember you didn't become friends because of gifts, maybe the timing was off, if she didn't have important things happen at the same time as your b-day-- i do believe you really would have gotten a better gift, just think off it as having a d-day on Christmas, you kinda get less presents rather than having your b-day be in July. don't let this bother you- friendship is important.

  3. no.

Gifts are gifts. You give one, you shouldn't expect one in return, that's not why you give it. If it is, then that is a bit selfish.

If she wants to get you one, and feels it's right, then she will.

  4. A box of candy.

  5. in my opinion YES! that is very rude you buy her something and yet she doesent buy u anything i mean that very rude mean and selfish wow i dont know what else to tell you but about your "its it rude ?" question yes it is every much rude indeed!
