BABIES OR intestines?(teddy bear hamster)?

I think my hamster might be pregnant. I already posted questions.

She has all the signs of a pregnant hamster. Building a nest, eating and drinking alot. But I recently noticed through all the fur on her belly are some pink spots. They aren't quite nipples from what I can see. But they might be? I don't know. She has not been housed with a male unless I bought her pregnant.

For everyone who doesn't know she is a teddy bear hamster and I have had her for 2 weeks.

So I felt around her belly and I felt something! !! I don't know if they are babies, organs or intestines. I don't know but help me please. I need to know if she is prego.

I think I already answered to your other question. As I mentioned there, those pink spots look predominant now becoz perhaps she is pregnant and the last 4 days, the teats would definitely look more prominent than normal but it could also be that she is growing and the nipples are looking prominent now compared to when she was a baby. It is very hard to confirm pregnancy through this symptom.

Feeling around her belly would not help since you cannot feel the babies through her belly, most probably you might feel only her internal organs.

Your hamster has already been with you for 14 days, just hold on for another 6 days, if she does not deliver, you can relax with the confirmation that she is not pregnant since gestation period for syrians is 16-18 days from mating date.

she prob is prego pet shops have male and female together i have a mouse that i bought yesterday male and female were together and i think she is prego

It sounds like she's pregnant. Pet shops keep male and female hamsters together so it's deffinitly possible.
