i'm 5'4 118lbs on monday night im going out with my friends im guessing im gonna drink about 5-6 beers, on wednesday morning i have to go and get urine and blood tests done for my diabetes will the alcohol show up on these results? They are not testing me for alcohol, but would it be visible to them when they are testing my blood/urine? Would it be more likely not to show if i drink an absurd amount of water or exercise a lot?

  1. Should not affect the results. Alcohol metabolizes through your liver at the rate of about 1 beer (or shot of liquor, glass of wine, etc.) per hour.

The 5-6 beers you may have are not enough to cause a huge change in your blood sugar levels 36 to 38 hours after you consume them.

I am not a Dr. and my advice should not be substituted for theirs, but it seems that you are in the clear with a window of almost 48 hours from drink to test and consumption of 5-6 drinks.
