has anyone ever met anyone with the surname bauerle? i know it may sound sort of random but it's my name and I always wondered how common it is in general.....

This is the meaning: South German (Bäuerle): from a Swabian diminutive of Bauer.

There are about 800 in the 1930 census and over 5000 in public records index.

I have heard the name before, but don't remember from where.
