BBT Temperature Drop?

On the day you notice a temperature drop (Take your temp.... input it in your chart that morning) when can you expect you ovulate. I noticed a temperature drop this morning and cannot bd until late tonight... have I missed my chances? I took an OPK yesterday and it was clearly negative...? This is getting too confusing for me!!!

  1. Personally, I've been charting for 21 cycles and have never had a dip before ovulation. I know it's possible, but it's not been a good indicator from my perspective (although CM has been an excellent indicator). And you also had a dip at CD9 so perhaps your temps simply dip down a lot for no reason. Hard to tell!

If you're getting negative OPKs then I would say you're fine to wait until tonight to BD. Normally ovulation is 1 days after the +OPK, so be sure to do another OPK mid-morning today and BD tonight.
