ok i wanna breed my 2 beardedragons and the thing is is one is 1year 2months the other is 1year 5months and the one is REALLY agresive and terrotorial

now the female doesnt care bout sharing tanks but the male puffs out and idk what to do i wanna breed them really bad

  1. It's okay to house a male and a female when they're young and small, but as they get older it's a bad idea.

    First of all, bearded dragons do not have a mating season. The male will keep breeding with the female repeatedly, eventually overbreed, and kill the female.

    They are also very territorial. The bigger one will hog all the good basking spots, eat most of the food, and just plain stress the other one out.

    It's okay to do it when they're young and small, but if they're as old as you say they are I wouldn't do it. It's not a good idea.

    The male will hurt the female if you house them together. Like I said, overbreeding. You can breed them, just don't house them together.
