  1. Ronnie def the best but alex higgins comes a close second

  2. The best snooker player of all time is Stephen Hendry - SEVEN world championships, 36 ranking tournaments in all, plus a few non-ranking titles. However, Ronnie is by far the best naturally talented player of all time, but his temper, depression and other problems have prevented him reaching his full potential (however, how many other player would like to have won 18 ranking titles including two world championships.

  3. Stephen Hendry all the way. He was almost unbeatable in the 90s!

  4. Joe Davis was world champion 13 times - nobody has come close to that!

  5. Ronnie's good, but what about Higgins? He was a genius.

Best player (strategist) was Steve (interesting) Davis.

  6. Eddie Charlton  from Australia as he was big in England & at home.

  7. Personally, it has to be Ronnie O'Sullivan for me.

Stephen Hendry played stunning snooker in his prime, but now I think he's past his best.

With Ronnie, it entirely depends on his mood how he plays. If he's in a good mood, he's unbeatable.

    He's a genius.

And, may I just like to say to the person who considers themself a 'Snooker god'- how can you be 'amazing' at snooker and never watched Ronnie O'Sullivan play?!!

  8. Minnesota Fats

  9. o'suliven

  10. Well I can go along with that, but do not forget Davis, in his time the cool man?

  11. Milt Offenberger

  15. today it would be be between o'sullivan and hendry, but over the history of snooker joe davis would be the one for me.no one today has matched the dominance he had in his time.

i would like to see how he would match up against today's players, but i think he would do well whatever era he played
