BK veggie burger?

Question

I don't know if I should order the BK veggie burger. I want to know what it tastes like, but it's cooked on the same grill regular burgers are on. Should I try it?

BK uses flame broiling so it's not like a frying pan or a griddle like McD's uses.  It's a wire rack similar to a barbecue grill.  I don't think much fat (if any) stays on the grill.

I really didn't enjoy it, but apparently quite a few other people apparently did, so there's a good chance you might as well. As for being cooked on the same grill, if you're a vegetarian for the health benefits and not necessarily worried about the animal aspect, then I don't see much to worry about. On the other hand if the animal aspect comes into play it's something you'll have to think hard about.

If you're a true vegetarian, why are you eating something that LOOKS like meat? Stick with vegetables in their true form, not PRETEND meat.

Don't worry about your BK veggie burger being cooked on the same grill. BK uses a rotating grate over a gas grill, The grate is  cleaned by fire, each time a burger goes through, so the veggie burgers never tuch meat.

Bk Veggie burgers are actually very good. Its usually all i order and im not a vegetarian, i just love em.

Well.....

There's a big chance it will have traces of meat in, if its cooked on the same grill as the meat burgers.

Don't take the chance, make a veggie burger yourself, so you know whats in it, and its probably much more healthier and tastier.

If you don't mind your burger potentially being cooked on the same grill as meat, go for it. Some vegetarians hate the idea of meat fat seeping into the food. I think it is a preference.

Sure, I'd give it a try! I wouldn't worry about whether vegetarian food is made on the same equipment as meat. No additional animals will be slaughtered if a BK veggie burger is made on the same grill as meat. It doesn't increase the demand for meat; it increases the demand for vegetarian food. So it's a good thing to buy veggie burgers at fast food chains!
