whats a good set of "powerful" brakes i can put on a mongoose???"the ones that are on the bike now suck"....

I would have to know your actual bike model,not just the brand as well know that the fork is stock or not to truly answer this question.

Yet,the best way to improve brakes easilly is to change your brake pads.I recommend Coolstop eagle claw.

At 7-14 dollars a set it is the cheapest way that I know to improve braking performance.
