Why should anyone be shocked? Yes, they're both good, and yes I was surprised, but shocked? There is so much parity in the game and everybody is getting better. Unless they're a supernatural athlete (Nadal) no one person is going to be dominate every year, look @ Federer. Before ya know it, it's going to be different winners every year.

No, i like Ivanovic but i doubt she`ll make the final. Im shocked both williams sisters are out to qualifiers. But its tennis lol anything can happen. I reckon Maria Sharapova will win this title now. If Ana did make the final i think Sharapova would win in straight sets to be honest.

Ivanovic has an easy path to the finals.  The only person who could possibly beat her is Jankovic in the semifinals if Jelena can make it.

um did you watch how they played? They played pathetically..and what do you mean can Ivanovic make the final now? No one has couned her out for the finals/title, ever since Justine dipped out of tennis.  She has never played either of the williamses on clay before, but she has been pretty much in form throughout the tournament..I actually think Ana will lose to Jankovic in the SF, if they both get there, even though Jelena has been Ana's ***** in their h2h(5-1 Ana)
