BT home hub?

I have a BT home hub, and i am with the broadband provider BT, i would like to stay with BT, but change to home hub for a Netgear ADSL modem, is this possible ?

  1. Physically yes.   But first:

    You must verify that BT will let you use the Netgear device on their network.  They may ask you for the MAC address that is unique to the network interface of the router.  Or you may be able to spoof the MAC address of the BT Home Hub device, in the setup configuration of the Netgear modem.

    Make sure that BT's network will provide the full bandwidth you are paying for, to your Netgear device.
