BUILT IN WEBCAM PROB - HELP!!?

Question

hi i got a toshbia laptop vista last night and it has a built in webcam when i try to click on the software it says an error and please reinstall?

and it also when i click the webcam software icon it doesnt do anything... just a blank screen...

please help im no computer expert!!

Under Control Panel do install hardware and specify that the hardware is already attached.  Then update your driver under the system tab.  If the installation do not work, un-install the webcam first and try re-installation.

hey i think u should reinstall the driver...u must be having the CD for the webcam driver...

either bring it back for a new laptop or bring it back and say the web cam driver is not working properly

go on google, try and ifnd what ever company your webcame is made frrom then type in the company name then software download it, install it and there you go

Why don't you call customer servce so that they can help you, I prefer you don't do anything on your own, because you could make the problem worse if you don't know what you're doing!
