How do you know when your child has gone form baby to toddler? Is there an age?

My son is 15 months old and i still call him a baby. Someone once told me that when they start walking they are a toddler, but if that is true, my son was a toddler at 10 month old.

  1. HE WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR BABY NO MATTER WHAT AGE

  2. Technically a baby becomes a toddler when he starts to toddle, i.e. when he starts walking, so there is no set age.

In terms of development, 18 months is usually considered as the cut off age.

Check the attached links about boys' development. The first one about baby boys, the second one about toddler boys.

  3. when they start walking i believe. parents will call kids their babies till they are adults. toddler is more of a developmental stage in life so I would look up general websites about child development, tehy would have better information on there or you can ask your pediatrician.

  4. i have four children and i call them all my babys and i think they will be no matter how old they are.

  5. he is a toddler when he turns 3.
