One of the ladieswe are crusing with is due in november.

the curise is in december..how is Royal Caribbean with babies that young? are the allowed?

how much are the port taxes for babies?

Omg what answers. When we went on the RC freedom last summer there were a ton of tiny little babies on board. It is doable. an as for the viruses everyone is worried about just make sure everyone washes their hands before they hold or touch the baby which you do anyway. The baby will probably sleep really well on board. As for the cost check with the travel agent I don't think there would be a fee cause the baby has it's own buffet! : )

baby is same price as any one else ... I wouldn't take a young child , much less a newborn on a cruise ....what kind of vacation is that

I do not know of any cruise line that will aloow infants under 3 months of age. Are you positive she is even planning on taking her little one?

She should not take a newborn on a cruise. That's just irresponsible parenting not to mention rude to the other passengers.

all the cruise lines require the baby to be at a certain age.. i beleive rc is 4 or 6 months

WHY WOULD ANYONE TAKE A ONE MONTH OLD ON A TRIP LET ALONE ON A CRUISE. WHEN YOU GET ON A CRUISE YOU ARE ON AN INCLOSE AREA WHER WE ALL KNOW THAT PEOPLE HAVE VIRUS AND THINGS LIKE THAT IT IS REALLY NOT A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE A NEW BORN. IN REGARDS TO THEM BEEN ALLOWED YES I HAVE SEEN BABIES ON BOARD A CRUISE SHIP THINKS IT A CRIME AND I DON'T KNOW IF THEY HAVE TO PAY PORT CHARGES BUT THEY DO NEED A PASSPORTS IF YOU ARE GOING INTERNATIONAL. I KNOW THAT ALL OF YOU WILL BE WORRIED IF THAT NEWBORN GETS A COLD OR IS CRYING ALL THE TIME. WHEN YOU HAVE A CHILD YOU NO LONGER HAVE THE RIGHT TO JUST THINK ABOUT THE FUN YOU ARE HAVING.

I can't imagine taking a newborn on a cruise. What if the baby gets sick? Yes, they have docs on the ships, but I wouldn't risk it. Can't image, either, that I'd have the energy to get ready for and go on a cruise a month after giving birth!

The best way to check for any age restrictions, passenger fare, etc, is to go to the cruise line's website or call them.
