I was at the mall today with my 5 month old twin girls and I was approached by a man who said that he was a representitive for a child acting/modeling agency. He said that he was interested in my twins. He said that they would get work easily.

I just said that I'll think about it and I took his business card.

has this happened to anyone eles before??

Should I just forget about it??

  1. well theres not a huge need for baby models and i would google the company and check with the better business buro. just to check on it. Hey if u do it then you can open up then and account and they can have money for college or cars. just a thought

  2. Google him and his company and see what you come up with!

  3. Do not become a stage parent, those people tend to be some of the worst examples of parents. Let your child decide which activities they want to join, NEVER force them into something.

  4. wait until they are old enough to say "mom, can I model" or "don't put me through that". kids are still individuals with opinions.

  5. No, you should not " just forget about it " it is too good of an opportunity to miss. When your babies grow up and start feeling feeling body conscious and worrying about their looks. imagine how cool it will be to be able to tell them that when they were little, they were models ! I bet they would be seriously impressed. Although, i strongly recommend you do some research before coming to any agreements with this man. A lot of modelling agencies these days are scams. Especially those that are targeting babies and children. Another piece of advise i would give you is, if you do decide to take this opportunity, never allow yourself to be pressurised into doing anything that you do not want to do - no matter what he promises you.

  6. Forget about it ..your babies are 5 months old why would you wanna put them through tiresome photo shoots ...Hun they don't stay babies forever enjoy them !

  7. Be cautious, if its something your interested in then do research into this guy & his business. His agency should have a website and an office that they are based at. Make sure there not asking you for money for anything - not even pictures, real agencies do not need flashy pics to get you into modelling, all you need to send them is a snapshot taken on your own camera.

If theres no website or details online then forget about it - all good agencies have some info on the net.

Don't forget to take your partner along to meet the agency if you have to, although we were given our daughters first shoot without meeting them.
