  1. I recently went to a shower and they had Subway the subs were like 3 feet long. They also had potato salad, coleslaw, chips, and a vege tray.

  2. EVERY ONE I'VE BEEN TO HAVE FINGER SANDWICHES,BBQ LIL SMOKIES,BBQ MEATBALLS,FRUIT AND VEG. TRAY,CHIPS ,DIP,CAKE,MINTS AND DRINK.

  3. A salad bar, some finger sandwiches or quiche, fruit kabobs and a cake are all you need...add some punch and you've got it made!

    Good luck!

    Champagne Punch:

    1 bottle white grape juice

    1 bottle cream soda

1 bottle champagne (use ginger ale for a non-alcoholic version)

Mix together and garnish with strawberries and grapes

    Raspberry Lemon Fizzy Punch:

1 container lemonade concentrate, made according to pkg directions

1 container frozen raspberries, thawed and pureed

    1 bottle sprite

Combine all and garnish with lemon wedges

    Good luck and have fun!

  4. well there are lots of things you could make..

appitizers , fruit plates with yogurt dip, crab cakes tortialla wrap with vegetables or chicken inside cut in indulvival slices, spinach dips, nachos, many bite size things fron the frozen area..

i saw on the food network once they took baby bottles ( cut the lids a bit bigger) and  filled them with pina colodas ( non- alcoholic for pregenant one) and it was really cute, so you could do things like that and make sugar cookies cut intoo baby assorted shapes!

  5. Serve COVA cream spaghetti, which in my opinion is really tasty. also serve ice cream cupcakes which is very cold. Serve (if u can afford) gourmet pizzas they're YUMMY!

  6. I would recommend a mixture of both hot and cold, selecting what is easy to prepare from each category. Deviled eggs, veggie crudite, meatballs in the crockpot (the kind with grape jelly and chile sauce), green salad with strawberries and candied walnuts (there are some easy microwave recipes for these), maybe some chips, salsa and nacho cheese. You  could even make a quiche  which could  be served room temperature.  Good luck with the party!

  7. I went to a lunch baby shower where they served both. They served sub sandwiches and casseroles. Also they served cold cuts and fruit since it was during the month of July. Plus the cake and ice cream. It was fun!

  8. I like the idea of the Subway 7ft long sub. Sounds good and easy. Just serve some potato salad, macaroni salad and other items that would go. But if you're looking for more of a classy lunch, then this is not the way to go. This is more fun and easy going. Have a great Baby shower!
