Babysitting advice?

my friend and i are thinking about babysitting as a summer job and we need a little help to get started. we're going to post signs around the neighborhood saying our hours and everything. she's 12 and im turning 13 in a few months. my friend has been watching our neighbor (who is now 8) since she was 6. I have a sister who is turning 5 and a niece who is turning 3 and i have watched both of them since they were born. we wanted to have it so we would both go to the persons house together instead of doing it seperately. we wanted to earn money to buy a pet of some sort for us to share. here are some of the things we need help with:

how much should we charge an hour?

what age range should we watch?

what should we say on the fliers?

is there any other advice that would help us?

  1. i wouldn't babysit anyone 11 or older, what you charge per hour really depends on what you feel comfortable charging ( i charge 5 dollars an hour) and when your babysitting remember not to stress out!
