Babysitting!!!!!?

How old should you be to babysit! And what if you have no one to babysit and that is the only way you can get money and you really want to!!!???? I dont want to give out posters because i dont want to babysit someone kid i dont even know......plz help!!!

Okay well I think any age 7 and above can babysit their own siblings, but I personally believe 11+ should be allowed to babysit other people's children.

Well, if you go to church you and your family needs to get to know the other families with younger kids and oneday they might ask you to babysit. Once you get to know lots of people, just say by word of mouth that you are babysitting now, and just hand out papers you typed up from the computer about your responsibilities and your charge.

I believe 13 is a good age to sit somebody else's children. Do not offer to babysit complete strangers, especially in their homes, it is not safe. See if your parents have any co-workers with children, a family from church, or neighbor children.

before anything make sure u really want 2 babysit and that u can really handle it. it is not an easy job at all. u have full responsibility of someone elses well being..nd sumtimes u may have 2 sit for more than 1 child. this is a huge responsibilty. also i suggest taking a babysitting course. it may sound dumb but i took 1 nd it taught me really important things that u shuld kno as a sitter.

..i started when i was like 13 or so .. u can let ur principal kno ur interested in sitting so if any parent goes 2 them ur principal can suggest u. also tell any family and neighbors that ur interested in sitting nd for them 2 let their friends kno...

also sitting isnt the only way u can make money..u can get a reg job or tutor as well. dnt look at it as ur only option. u need 2 actually like kids in order for sitting 2 werk...remember if the kids dnt like u or sumthin happens ull loose a customer nd possible future employers... be carefulllll!!!

Well by law in Ohio you have to be 12 to be home alone by your self and to baby-sit you should be atleast 14

maybe try taking a babysitting course, then putting up fliers in your own school.  I'm sure there are parents of kids you know who would be happy to use your services as a babysitter, just make sure this is all ok with your parents. Good luck, I hope it all works out for you!!!

What if you ask the adults you know if they have friends with children. That way you can still get to babysit and they're not total strangers. Also arrange a meeting where your parents are present so you can meet the new clients safely.
