Background on myspace?

Question

im a litle confused on how to add the kind of background im wanting.

my profile right now is a "normal" one but customized a little, with a "fake friends list" and a comment scroll box, etc.

however, i want to add a background. but i dont want to add a background that covers the WHOLE page.

right now, my 'background' is two separate colors, a white one and a gray one, its not customized, its the one that comes with myspace. everything is on the white part, the gray part is much smaller than the white part and has nothing on it.

i hope this is making sense.

but yes, i want to change the color of the GRAY background, and i want to change it to black. i dont want the white background to change.

the problem is, ive tried finding codes to do this and i just get things that change the ENTIRE background, the white and grya part included. but i just want the gray aprt to be black and the white part to remain white

i really hope this is making sense.

and, i know this can be done because ive seen it on others myspaces. so i know im not jus crazy lol!!!

ok.. go on a site called www.skem9.com and go to layouts and click overlayouts and then search through there, and it has layouts already editied

Go to www.LoveMyFlash.com and they have some nice ones, and some things that will do a step by step with you.... Make sure to read ll the instructions. ^_^
