Bacteria and alcohol experiment!?

Question

alright, I need to do a senior Biology report , so say if I pick the how can different alcohol concentration'effect on Bacteria growth.

(e.g. wine, white wine, vodka...) is this experiment gonna work? cuz im worried about bacteria be killed easily as long as you have trace alcohol in a liquid? Is this gonna work?

If it won't, have you guys got any other ideas??

don't soak them in alcohol, smear some bacteria on an agar plate put small equall sized pieces of paper soaked lightly in equal amounts of each alcohol in the middle of each dish and see which alcohol area gets the most growth cos the alcohol will leach out into the surrounding nutrient.
