Bad experiences with coaches?

I was just wondering if anyone else would like to share their story about a bad experience with a coach.

For me, it was during high school:

I was moved to varsity junior year and promised a spot on the squad for my senior year. But when that time rolled around the coach instead gave my spot to a kid whose family had a long history with the school. He was much less deserving than I was but the coach played him because he knew the family. All the kids on the team were upset with the coach and the kid. Anyone else care to share and vent?

Also during high school

i was on the track team, we didn't have separate teams or anything, just one big varsity team.

One girl, only a few seconds faster than me on one particular event, had sprained her ankle at the beginning of the season and was out until the very end.

i was supposed to run in a relay for a big sectional meet, but the coach gave my spot to her because her ankle was better!

i was much more deserving, i had been working my butt off the whole season.
