Bad habit wont stop?

my daughter is 17 yrs. old and has a bad habit she is always bites her lips or makes different moves with her mouth and some times pluckers her lips like a duck . she wont stop iam tried of bring it to her attention. what should i do

sounds like it could be a mild cast of Tourettes (sp?) Syndrome - have her checked out

if it's not bothering her it shouldnt bother you.

she's almost an adult..i think she should be allowed to pucker her lips

go to myspace...teens pucker their lips all the time

She is 17 years old?...Just leave her...that is not such a bad habit..lots ofperople do that.

I could be a nervous thing actually..I don't think it'ssuch a big deal..

just leave her alone

Tell her about it, that you don't like it.

And other thing, tell her that people said that her noises are annoying.

lol sounds like my cuzing ru my aunt? lol shes 17 too, she just has to realize on her own the it looks dumb

its sounds like its more your problem than hers

by this i mean, it bothers you more than it does her

ignore it

there are worse things that you could be dealing with when it comes to a 17 year old daughter

btw, its a habit developed as a way to deal with anxiety
