Bad_pool_caller help!?

Hi,

I have a windows vista home premium relatively new laptop. Ocassionally, when I take it out of sleep mode, I get a blue screen saying bad_pool_caller.

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

  1. generally that bad_pool_caller is caused by a driver that's not compatible with the operating system.  Here's some more info on it

    you might also want to google : bad_pool_caller vista and you'll find a bunch of websites that discuss this issue

    I would roll it back.  Then if the problem still persists you know that's not the problem and you can reinstall the driver.  If it goes away, then you'll know that the driver was the culprit (which I suspect it probably is).
