  1. don't let them in they can't take nowt if you don't let them in don't leave a window open as they can gain access don't let them put a foot in the door , it depends on whos name on rent book or deeds to the place were the bailiffs are calling if your name is on the rent book then no if hers is then yes if both then you will need receipts to prove theya re yours its a tricky situation but try and work out your debt problems before it gets to the stage of bailiffs good luck

  2. No! but you will be asked for proof of purchase!! If you cannot provide the proof and the home is in your parners name, then I'm affraid they can take what they are entitled to take. If the home is in both names and you can't prove you purchased certain items, then I'm afraid they can also take it. But what you have to remember is that they can only take items that are non essential. They are legally required to leave you with cooker, fridge etc and one TV. My advice is to remove the items of importance to you before they come knowing that what is left they can take!!!

    Good Luck.

  3. unless you can proof the goods are yours then yes

  4. They used to have a show on this.  Basically you can try tactics to stall them but they can subpoena the right to break in and do what they need to do.

Without receipts proving things are yours and not your partners, they will inventory everything.  That is the law of the land.  And taking things to other peoples houses to hide them will get you in trouble if you are caught.

Best to try and find a way to pay up.
