i tried this soup in the old house restaurant and the flea market on the side on the way to Orchard Road.  I really loved it.  I hope i can go back to Singapore and enjoy the very good food there

Joo Chiat, a stall with a grouchy uncle governing the car park outside their stall. This is the same lane where all the KTV and pubs are.

Balestier, along the road towards Thomson Medical Center.

Beach Road, opposite Golden Mile Tower. This is the herbal variation.

Most bak kut teh stalls along the roads in Singapore are worth a try. Many different variations due to the different chinese cooking cultures. Some are pepper and spices based soup some are herbal soup.
