Baking soda water = white teeth?

Question

I heard that if you make a paste of baking soda and water then brush your teeth with it your teeth will get very white. Does it work? How often can i do it?

well...yes but not too white...but just white enough. but theres a better way of doing it. dont make baking soda in a paste. sprinkle some on your toothpaste so you get flouride and your teeth are whiter. You need to brush your teeth with flouride twice everyday. But dont brush your teeth with baking soda a lot. too much will rub the enamel off. ^_^♥

Actually there is some truth to this. You can even purchase a tooth paste called Arm and Hammer Advance White with Baking Soda and Peroxide. It also contains sodium fluoride, so using this is probably better that making your own concoction because you need to make sure you are brushing with flouride twice a day. I use this and I have gotten amazing results.

Baking soda is just to use for cooking and I dont think It can be used for any cleaning purpose.

Better go for any toothpaste especially advertised for whitening the teeth.

Do you know something? Yello teeth without any decays or anything similar to decay is the strongest comparitively with white one.

People anciently were using neem stick to brush.

Still you prefer white teeth? consider the above or another better way is to clean your teeth in any dental clinic. where that is also a must.

Well don't do it too often or Acid Erosion may occur (when the enamel thins from the teeth) but I do it every now and again if they are looking yellowy and it does kinda work but not VERY white. nice if you want an extra shine. Don't do it anymore than 2 months apart each time. and just put the baking soda straight onto your teeth brush and put a bit of water on the brush then brush away ! be warned, it tastes disgusting.
