Bank of america savings account?

i was looking at this thing of the bank of america website for a savings account, and it said

An automatic monthly transfer from a Bank of America checking

account of $25 or more

&

Less than $300 per day or no automatic monthly transfer of $25 or more from savings - $3 (Monthly Maintenance Fee)

i dont really understand what that means, so can some one explane it?

It means, they charge a maintenance fee. DO NOT USE IT.

Even a penny is too much for a savings account.

Savings accounts give you less than 4 cents per dollar, so why should they charge you even a penny a month?

Just save your money in another bank account (HAS TO BE FREE) or cash it out and save it under your mattress, don't bother with savings accounts that don't save much and may cost fees.
