Bar code/ upc ?

i have a complaint against clean and clear product...they are asking for a lot # which i dk where its located on the bottle...then they are asking for for the upc....the bar code on the bottle says four numbers then it has a dash and then six numbers...what numbers do i where its says upc?? thnx

No, a bar code or UPC will identify the product.

They are looking for something above and beyond that.  I work for a paint company, and often deal with this.

They are trying to have you identify, what "batch" of the product.  Its usually stamped on the bottom.  It could be a Julian date, such as this for example... R1238... (what this is telling us, is that, this was made on the 123rd day of 2008.)

Keep looking on the product, you should find something.
