Barclays Premier League round up news
BOLTON WANDERERS
Bolton’s official website confirmed that Andy O’Brien has joined the Championship side Leeds United. The Irish centre back joined Leeds United on loan back in October and has made a total of 10 appearances so for the Yorkshire club.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle said: "I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone at the club when I say I would like to thank Andy for his services to Bolton Wanderers. He is a good professional and I would like to wish him all the best for the future. It is a good
move for Andy at this stage in his career and I am sure he will do a very good job for Leeds United."
Bolton Wanderers are currently placed 7th in the Barclays Premier League table with 30 points to their name out of 22 league games.
Owen Coyle’s team drew their last match against Wigan Athletic at Reebok Stadium. The Wanderers will play their next match against York City in FA Cup third round. However, their next Premier League match is against Stoke City at Britannia Stadium.
FULHAM
Fulham manager Mark Hughes has confirmed his striker Andrew Johnson has suffered a minor hamstring tear and will not play Saturday’s FA Cup match against Peterborough.  The 29-year-old striker was forced from the pitch in Fulham’s latest win over West Bromwich
Albion and Mark Hughes does not want to risk him.
The Fulham boss said: "We have to be careful with Andy. He has had games in close succession, he had tightness in his hamstring and was a little sore on Monday. We took him for a scan and it came back that he had a grade one tear. At a push he could have
played but if he had torn it completely it would be a five, six week injury and we couldn't afford that. It's usually eight to 10 days for a grade one."
Fulham are currently placed 14th in the league standings with 22 points to their credit out of 21 games. Fulham will play their next Premier League match against Wigan Athletic at DW Stadium on January 15, 2011.
LIVERPOOL
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Meireless, who missed Liverpool’s latest defeat against Blackburn, is expected to return in a blockbuster FA Cup match against Manchester United. The 27-year-old played only few minutes in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers and was called off
due to hamstring injury.
Sammy http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lee-c21860, assistant manager of Liverpool, has confirmed: "He's got bone bruising on his ankle. This isn't as bad as we first thought. He's a tough cookie and hopefully he will be back for Sunday."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 are currently placed 12th in the table with 25 points to their name out of 20 League games. Moreover, the Reds will play their next match against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road and would look to improve their away form. Liverpool posses
worst away record in the Barclays Premier League, as they have only won 1 away match so far in this season.
