  1. Yes, it is called flexibility and mechanics. Now before you look away from this let me explain. I can bet good money that you are not as flexible as a gymnast so until you are you have not done your job on making yourself flexible.

Now for mechanics, you have to video tape your throwing mechanics and learn where you are making errors in the throwing motion. Your body should be delivering the ball, not your arm. You can do the Jaeger Band workout routine until the cows come home, but if you do not have good throwing mechanics then nothing is going to change.

Video tape and learn and improve on one thing at a time and you will see results. Take a look at how Major League ballplayers field whatever position is it you play and take the quality basics of their mechanics and apply it to how you throw the baseball.

I have created a website service that is adding information daily about baseball and techniques and best practices. I suggest you take a look at it and feel free to email me with any questions at theprospect09@gmail.com. This is a professional service that I provide for the public so that we can educate kids just like you who are trying to pursure their dreams. Good luck and hope to hear from you.

  2. Ted Williams used to hit golf balls with a bat because its harder to hit that than a baseball. If you want to go even further, hit popcorn seeds. To throw faster, play catch and work on  your release. You might not be using your arm to its full capacity, if you have good power while batting, throwing shouldnt be that hard, your mechanics might be all wrong, pull your arm as far back as it goes on your throw, thats how I incresed my speed.

  3. to throw harder you need to use your core. like your hips becuz your arm is not where all your power is. to hit with accuracy you can hit it to the left to swing earlier and to the right swing later if ur a right handed hitter. the opposite if ur a lefty

  4. wow

    i hate baseball so much

but they said i cud start if i tried for my school

    its SUCH an unathletic sport

    but it comes naturally

    so you are screwed

  5. Well If you want to through faster, i throw 75 pitches everyday and work out 4 times a week on my legs mostly thats were u get most of your strenght from and if u want more accuracy try hitting golf balls because when you get up to bat it looks like the ball is huge i did all of this stuff and im 13  and im clocked at 74 miles per hour if you have any questions just add me on Msn IM, cheetos-25@hotmail.com

  6. i myself used to have trouble playing baseball i played on a aau team for about 2 years without seeing good playing time, but i can tell u baseball is not natural talent you just have to work. I went to the local baseball place that gave private lessons with people that really kno wat they r doing. (i am shure your city has a place like this) just work hard and listen to wat they tell you. i used to go 2  hittin lesson bout 2 times a week and outfeild 2 times as well and once i got better at those i went into pitching and now started all 50 games of my aau season, batted 5th and was the number 2 pitcher on our rotation. If you are commited to it you will c urself improve alot. good luck

  7. top 10 percent of baseball players will find success no matter what they do

middle 80 percent of ball players will find success in baseball if they try hard enough and have good technique

bottom 10 percent, no matter how hard they try or what technique they use, just will never be successful

hopefully you arent the lower 10 percent. keep working at it though, show everyone that hard work does pay off
