Bathtub question????????????

ok so i was cleaning my fish tank and you know when you go to plug the tub with the metal stopper thinger?

and theres a thing sticking up that it goes through so it stays? yea i bent it right to the side. then i treied to fix it with pliers. and it busted off. i know its old and possibly rotting the metal but what should i tell my mom?

she is going to LOSE IT

Tell her exactly what happened. You were cleaning your fish tank, which is good. When the stopper bent, you tried to fix it which is good. So the only problem is that you pushed too hard on the stopper and you can apologize to her for that. Tub stoppers are not expensive at all, so I don't think you mom will be as mad as you might think.

act dumb. Tell her you don't know what happened. If it was that old she probably will think it was ready to go anyhow. ..which it probably was!
