Bats in you re house.?

Question

Has anyone had a bat fly into their house? Is there any kind of saying about this? Similar to thats lucky or its unlucky

We have bats in the upstairs part of our outhouse but so far never had one fly in the house.

It maybe got confused or was chasing an insect and went the wrong way.

I don't know of any superstitions about them in houses but don't believe its classed as unlucky.

I love watching them coming out at dusk to hunt and feel lucky to have them as neighbours.

we have bats in our attic, they are great to watch when they come out at night and they eat all the biting bugs so i love having them around (we can't disturb them anyway as they are protected here) but usually they are not a nuisance so we don't mind.

Occasionally we have bats in the house. Not surprising really, when there are bats all around here & they roost in next door's attic. Just like us, they take a wrong turn sometimes.

Not being superstitious, I couldn't say - it just happens, nothing supernatural about it. We just throw a towel over it & put it back outside.
