Bearded Dragon.?

Question

my bearded dragon didn't go to the bathroom for a couple days, and had a couple signs of impaction.

today he went to the bathroom. and it was more than usual.

so does this mean he is better now?

Next time he doesn't go for that long. Put him in a warm water bath with about an inch of water. Usually that does the trick. He could have been constipated. Do you feed any veggies? Try thawed frozen mixed veggies.

If he is having constipation issues, it may not be due to impaction. If you are on a loose substrate, take it out and use shelf liner, linoleum or tile, it is safer. If you are not on a loose substrate and still having this issue, Reptiles will often get constipated because of dehydration. When they are dehydrated the urates becomed dried out and is difficult for them to pass.

Keep him plenty hydrated. You can help by soaking his greens in water prior to feeding him.
