Beckham or Bentley ?

Question

Who would you like to see have a permanent place on RM in the England squad. Think about it skills-wise. Bentley has pace but doesn't have anyware near the accuracy of Beckham.

I would choose Beckham because he has great accuracy for crosses, great free kicks and great stamina. He may not have a much speed but who needs it when you have all those attributes. He is also a great ambassador of Great Britain.

yes totally agree, he is an idol, a role model for kids and a great man. we saw on wednesday what he is capable of for the first goal, i just worry about him playing in a lower league to what he should be. I think he will train himself to keep intact and obviously we know about his never die attitude, he has great fitness levels, great passing and a great footballing brain. I would rather have walcott infront of bentley, i think he's totally overated and cant believe how easily he was forgiven after letting the under 21 team down, thats something England can do with out.

Nobody should have a permanent place in the England squad. It's an honour to play for England and any player can be replaced at any time.

Beckham offers something that noone else can at the moment so we need him in the set-up. But we need legs so I'd say start with Bentley with Beckham the 15 minute super sub.

Also I think Ashley Young needs to be given a chance.I fear he may be one of those great club players that doesn't cut it at international level.

I would have said Beckham, but he is a little old for a permanent spot on the team, so I have to say Bentley.
