I have always enjoyed making pictures in photoshop, and have been thinking about taking some classes on film / cgi, photoshop, etc etc. The thing is that I can't draw freehand to save my life. In order to pursue a career in this field would I need to be able to draw freehand or what should I expect?

Here are two photoshops that I have recently done.

  1. I am going to school for Advertising/Graphic Design. I decided to do that because I LOVED my Computer Graphics class in highschool -- which was photoshop EVERYTHING. I do have to take a Drawing class, Design, and Art 101 in addition to my Computer Graphics. I say go for it though because you can always learn. If you are creative enough to do that with photoshop, then you'll learn quickly with pencil and paper.
