Begginer in Pokemon?

I am a begginer. I just got my first deck today. What am i supposed to do? What do the symbols mean?

If you a bough an official beginner deck then it should come with a rule booklet that tell you the rules and how to play, but if you are referring to the symbols on the bottom those indicate the rarity of the card and which series/deck it is from. Circle means common, diamond is uncommon and star is rare. Hope this helps.
