I changed the setting on my belkin54g wireless router to enable as a wireless access point and lost all internet connection I would like to disable it. How do I do this?

  1. The only way is to do a factory reset. Check the manual for this.

Hi there Stella..to change the settings on your router you will need to log into it....click on start,run and then type in cmd and hit enter....now type in ipconfig /all.....the default gateway is usually your router ip..usually something like 192.168.1.1.....now type that address into a browser and you should be able to log into the router to change any settings...cheers

  3. Reset the router to its default. You may have to power it down and hold the reset button while booting it. This will change the password to its orignal default also.
