Belly Button Piercing =]]]?

Question

I got my belly button pierced a week ago and i take good care of it. I clean it everyday. My friend got hers done at the same time with me and she doesn't clean hers at all, yet hers is not infected and mine is. What should i do to help? Its all p***y and bloody...

if it's only been a week, it's going to have a little pus and blood. it's perfectly normal. also make sure you're shirts aren't too tight(if they are, you can go the the drugstore and get a plastic eye patch to tape over the piercing) and make sure your pants or belt aren't rubbing it. consider wearing stretch pants as much as possible for maximum comfort of the area around your piercing. and DON'T SLEEP ON YOUR STOMACH!!!! that makes it veeery irritated..

well i got mines 4 months ago . its almost done healing and its doing very good.

you should do sea salt soaks and clean it with anti-bactiral sope (not sented)

if you wanna know what a sea salt soak is what you do is get a cup of water get 1/4 tea spoon sea salt and put it in the water. then heat it in the microwave for about 20 seconds so its warm then soak ur belly piercing with it for 10 mins. make sure you dont put too much salt because then it can dry your piercing. so for 3 times a day clean it with anti-bactiral soap first and then do the sea salt soak. if you dont want to do the sea salt soak you can always go to a tattoo shop or hot topic and you can get these things called (sea wipes- that at a tattoo shop) or you can get this other cleaner called H2ocean- at hottopic.

p.s if you dont have the sea stuff for now you can always clean it with anti bactirial soap for now but you should consider doing the sea soaks too those help alot with piercings.

well maybe its because ur touching it more

put neosporin to make it heal faster clean it regularly theres not much else u can do

dont clean it so much and wash your hands very good each time you clean it. if you take your belly button ring out to clean it, dont do tthatt.
