Benefits money......my friends has disappeared?

along with herpurse. it was in her bag at 4 pm. now nothing. dont know if she dropped it or someone tookit. its been reported it to the police..what does she do now ?? can she get emergency benefit. she has a 18 month old baby to care for. ive given her some for today, but are there emergencyfunds ??

is she insured?  sometimes you are covered for items away from the home.  she may be able to get a loan from social services

Yes if you get income support then you can claim social fund or emergency fund that is only enough money to see her until her next payment.
