I'm gonna go for Agostini as 500 cc seemed massive in those days!

I mean,  I know it's still 500 cc nowadays - and plenty powerful - but put that in the context of the frames, tires, brakes etc. that they were running, and the components used - and that was a lot of bike - and a lot of skill was needed to get them round the courses.

Lets face it - they didn't have traction control to take off, they had a bloody fast sprint!
