Best CSU in California?

Question

(I tried posting this before, but I don't see it, so I'm trying again)

For all of you in California, in your opinion, which CSU is the best and why?

I'm leaning towards Sonoma, but I'm not certain yet.

I'm majoring in English with a minor in Psychology and planning on going to law school after (if that helps any)

If you prefer UC's, tell me which ones and why.

I'm looking for outsider opinions. The most detailed and helpful will get 10 points.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is the definite best CSU, and is generally looked at as being just as good as middle tier UC's like UCSB, UCD, UCI.  It's engineering department is one of the best in CA.  Arguably better than UC Berkeley, and it's Architecture department is ranked #3 in the nation behind Harvard and Virginia Tech.
