  1. The best TV for gaming is one that includes a gaming mode. These modes reduce the amount of video buffering they do so that you do not have video lag (you get real-time responses to your game controller inputs). Here is a list of LCD TVs that provide gaming modes in the screen size you have selected:

    Sony KDL-32XBR6

    Panasonic TC-32LX85

    Panasonic TC-26LX85

    Toshiba 32AV500U

    Toshiba 32AV500U

Additional Details: Anyone recommending a TV without gaming mode (Olivia, Vizio, etc.) just does not understand the issues a gammer faces. Just email Stork and ask him about his experience with his Sanyo & Xbox 360 ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... ).

  2. well honestly the 32 i play on a 40 it 6 days to find the perfect tv

  3. 1080p isn't going to look any different from 1080i on a tv smaller than 30" trust me. Just make sure it's LCD and from a reputable brand. I've got an LG and it looks fantastic.

  4. You would need to find 100Hz and full HD that's all you will need and i would recommend PANASONIC, SAMSUNG and SONY.

  5. The size that you mention rules out HD projection and plasma because they don't make them that small, so LCD is your choice.  The biggest issue with LCDs in general are contrast ratios and viewing angles.  You want to get the LCD with the highest contrast ration and highest viewing angle.  The next issue is response time.  8 ms, 5ms and 2ms are commonly quoted times out there, although there is a lingering question regarding whether or not there is a true standard out there.  The lower number is better.  Lastly, you want the highest resolution that you can get, which is currently 1080p.  As long as you have a gaming system that will put out 1080p such as the PS3, you won't be wasting our money.

Is money a factor in your choice?   If not, go with a high-end brand-name system like the 32" Sony 1080p KDL32XBR6 for about $1,200.  If you are looking for a bargain, I purchased the 32" Olevia 720p 232T for my son for Christmas for about $600 and he loves it with his Xbox 360.

With a 32" LDC, which is on the small end of HDTVs, the difference between 1080p and 720p is almost imperceptible so you may want to go this way.

  6. my friend has a 32" sony bravia that is a BEAUTIFUL picture on his 360.  the bigger the better, but honestly theres not really much of a difference.
