I have had my license for a few years for NYS Snowmobiling. What is the best starter sled that I could buy in the range of $1200? (Used obviously). I need something that is quick, maneuverable, going to last etc. etc.

Thanks,

PS. Please don't try and sell me your sled

  1. I would try anything in the 550-570 range.  My personal pick is the arctic cat z570.  i had one for three years and it keeps up with most any sled in tight trails, but after 45 or so they pull ahead.  It handled awesomely with picks and has the same chassis as the ZR sleds.  You could also try the polaris super sport.  but if you want something alittle faster, try an arctic cat zr 600 from 2001, that should fit your price range.

  2. Definitly go with a ski doo or polaris but check craigslist you can find a good deal

  3. with no real snow this year alot of people are selling them on craigslist in the rv page

for the price your looking for you could get a fairly new sled just need to spend a little time to look

I bought 5 sleds this year from there

so now my wife and 3 kids all have there own sleds what I need is a trailer   think snow
