  1. I haven't use dit yet, but did a lot of research on it and i hear medela pump in style, or any medela pump in the best. I also heard not to waste your money on cheaper pumps because they don't work good. I bought the medela swing, it's a single electric pump and cost anywhere from 130-180$ I couldn't afford the double pump in style. With a double 10-15 min to pump. And with a single 20-30 min to pump. Good luck

  2. Everything you need to know is at this site:

Too may variables to answer here.

You can always find support for breast feeding from your local

La Leche League (in the white pages), they are awesome!

I breast fed all my kids and found that manually expressing was easiest for me. It is free and handy. (pun intended) It is a bit tricky at first, but think of how you would milk a cow (sorry!) Once I figured it out i could pump all I needed in a very short time. You are giving your baby a precious gift. You! and the finest nutrition available. (not to mention free and comes in a cute container ;-)

Best of luck and bless you and your precious baby!

  3. The Advent breast pump is the best one in my opinion. in my case the longer i left it 2 pump the quicker my milk would come hope iv been of some help

  4. I used the Medela Pump in style advace, dual electronic pump. It would typically take me around 15-20 minutes, just until the milk stops flowing. It worked excellent for me

(It has adjustable pressure, is easy to use, and I would typically get 6-8 oz per breast)

  5. This answer is going to vary from woman to woman, as each woman's b*****s are shaped differently and each feed is different.

For me, though, the Avent Isis Manual Pump was best and easiest for me. It was lightweight and could easily be taken anywhere. It was gentle and easy to control the pressure as well. It didn't cause me any pain and I felt like I had the most control over it. Within 5-10 minutes, I could pump at least 4oz, sometimes more, and it was very easy to clean as well, and put back together.

    Good luck with your decision!

  6. Medela Pump in style.  It was great.  It took about 20 min or so.  You can pump both b*****s at the same time.  Totally a time saver... and they say if you pump both b*****s at the same time, you'll get more milk in quicker.  Good luck

  7. I had the Avent Manual pump at first and it took a long time to pump and my hand would hurt so before I went back to work I made the decision to get a double electric pump.  At the time I didn't have the finances for a Medela so I did a lot of research and purchased the Lanisoh Double Electric Pump.  I like it and they have great customer service if you experience a problem.  I will say that next time around I may start off with a Medela but the Lanisoh is great depending on your financial situation.  I pump every 3 hours (my baby is 8 months old) for 10-15 minutes at a time.  I also recommend once your milk production is set to pump for a few minutes after breastfeeding and freeze that milk.
