Ok in the era of video games (if i say arcade and they are on there do not get discouraged if i dont say it on consoles b/c arcades have great games too):

1970's-80's:

Some of the best ones were the arcade version of Pac-Man Asteroids,Centipede, Breakout, Later there is Super Mario Brothers Series, Metroid, Zelda 1, Robotron, Galaga, Pole Position, Bosconian, Donkey Kong, Double Dragon, Battle Toads, Castlevania 1 and 3,mega man

Some horrible ones were any of the ripoffs of the arcade classics on Atari b/c the sound sucks and the graphics were bad. Custer's revenge (that is a p**n game so Hot Coffee was def not the first s*x shock in game history), ET, Wally Bear and the No Gang, Any of the Atari p**n Games. Any games that adapts a movie or show.

1990's:

Best: Nintendo (SNES,64, Game Boy):Super Mario World,All Stars,SMW2: Yoshi's Island and 64,Mario Kart, Zelda: Link To The Past, Metal Combat (a SNES game that uses a super scope and you are a mecha pilot and you destroy other mechas with the super scope.)TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, Super Metroid, Star Fox (64 also), Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Pokemon, Banjo-Kazooie, Cruisin' World, KI:Gold, South Park, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Series on SNES, Super Castlevania IV, Super Smash Bros.,mega man, rock man and forte

PS: Crash (before he gone all multi-platform),Resident Evil Series, Tekken series, Twisted Metal series, GTA 1,2, and London, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1,2,and 3. Spyro (again like Crash, Before multiplatform),castlevania, Mortal Kombat: Trilogy, Vigilante 8, mega man

Sega: Comix Zone, Sonic, Altered Beast and Mutant League Football

Arcade: Anything involving Gradius (Gradius, Salamander, Lifeforce, Parodius), R-Type, Strider, Metal Slug, King Of Fighter Street Fighter series, Mortal Kombat series, Tekken series, TMNT:The Arcade Game and Turtles in Time (had some variations from SNES version), Simpsons, Marvel vs. Capcom Series (also counting X-Men Children Of The Atom, Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men vs Street Fighter, etc), Virtura Fighter, House Of The Dead, Time Crisis, Area 51, Lethal Enforcers, MTV Drumscape Drum Simulator Any of the Racing Games that you can sit in and drive.

PC: Doom, Quake, any FPS, Civilization, Sim City, Myst

Worst: Any other sega game that is also on SNES b/c the fact is music was better and graphics were better on SNES, Fantasy Zone 95 (a p**n game based on Qix), Again games based on movies or shows except for the power rangers games on SNES

2000's

PS2: GTA series, God Of War, Twisted Metal Black, Mercenaries, Scarface, Burnout 3,Revenge and Dominator, Gradius V, Soul Caliber 2 (b/c it had Heihachi) Tekken 4 and 5, Guitar Hero Series, Rock Band, Devil May Cry Series, Black, Madden, Any Call of Duty Game before PS3 and 360, same for Medal Of Honor, We Love Katamari, THPS after 3 (4, Underground,American wasteland,project 8, etc), Sims, Castlevania, Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, Crazy Taxi, andMArvel Vs. Capcom 2, Dynasty Warrior Games, Onimusha Series, Resident Evil Series, Bully

X-Box: Any of the games that PS2 has were better if they had Custom Soundtrack to put your music on, Halo 1 and 2, Star Wars:KOTOR, GTA:SAN ANDREAS,  

PS3: Virtua Fighter 5, Dynasty Warriors Gundam

360: Halo 3

Wii: Super Smash Bros Brawl

GC: Anything involving Metroid and Super Smash Bros Melee

GBA/DS: Anything involving mario, wario, mega man or pokemon, nintendogs.

PSP: idk b/c i havent played it yet

Arcade:SF series, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Any of those Hunting Games, Any DDR variation and ____mania games from Konami, Time Crisis 2,3,4 House of The Dead 2,3,4

PC: DOOM 3, Battlefield 1942

Worse: IDK, it is too early to tell for PS3 and 360, but the others i am guessing most of the ones you buy at value city for 14.99 or less or a k-mart on clearance. I say MOST b/c i have found some mega man Games over there.

The best games are final fantasy series, all Grand Theft Auto's except the ones before # 3, and The Zelda series.

The worst games are Tetris (the most boring game of all time), Sub Rebellion, and paper mario

Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy 7 are probably my top favourite video games.

Best game i have to say Ever Quest 2 Worst game the pathetic down grading Grand theft Auto it has put a bad varry bad name on video games and should just out right be ended
